so, what's been going on in the swamp penthouse, y' ask?

well, it's gettin' on for the middle of the year, and that tends to be when the penthouse garuda welcomes visitors. so the swamp's been gettin' out and about bein' tour guide... went to the oriental hotel down by the river for high tea,

an' on a river cruise at night for dinner in an old conversted rice-barge

you try taking pictures from a moving boat at night with a digital camera..

also been to lots of markets, lots and lots of markets. visitors to bangkok tend to get caught up in the joy of shopping, and i gots no objections to tagging along...

bookings are open for a limited number of very exclusive patrons in the chilton room, named after one of our very famous guests who was one of the first to stay in the penthouse garuda...
